Matki shower surrounds and shower trays are covered by a 10-year guarantee against parts failure, with the initial two-year period also having labour cost cover. Gold and nickel-plated parts, Teak Decking and Matki Glass Guard are guaranteed for the initial two-year period only. Matki Elixir and Matki Swadling thermostatic shower mixers and accessories and Matki Fastflow shower wastes are guaranteed for five years.

The 10 year Matki Guarantee is subject to registration and the issuing of a Guarantee number. 

Yes, Matki Fineline shower trays are only 60mm high and can be placed directly onto an even floor. There is no need to build the tray up with chipboard and cement base as is the case with many other low profile shower trays.

The highly advanced Matki Swadling thermostatic control quickly and automatically adjusts the water temperature to give a constant safe temperature, factory set at max. 43 degrees.

It is important that the tray is installed absolutely level as that will make it easier to install and adjust the shower door or shower surround. The tray should be fully supported on an even level floor. Where this is difficult to achieve, the tray can be ‘bedded’ on a weak sand and cement mixture of approximately 5:1. Tiles or wall covering should slightly overlap the edge(s) of the shower tray to provide sufficient sealing area.

Cleaning with a soft cloth after showering will keep the glass and frames looking new. For hard water deposits use a 50/50 solution of vinegar and warm water. Flash Bathroom spray or CIF Bathroom spray can also be used on Matki products. Various specialist cleaning and glass dressing products are available from Ritec International Ltd – www.ritec.co.uk.  Always read manufacturers label before using any cleaning materials, thoroughly clean down the shower and dry with a soft cloth.  Do not use bleach, alkaline or acid-based aggressive or abrasive cleaning products.
