Matki Installations – Important Information
Prior to a visit from Matki Installations, please confirm:
- If there are any parking restrictions at your property
- The shower area is fully accessible to our team
- If there are any health & safety issues we should be aware of
- Final wall and floor coverings (tiles/stone/board/shower tray) are complete
- You or a named responsible adult will be available in the building for the duration of the visit and to sign-off the work upon completion.
If any of the considerations above are not met, the Matki Installations visit may be cancelled or terminated, please see details below.
High Standard Installation – Special Conditions
Prior to a Matki Installations visit for this purpose, you will be asked to confirm that the final dimensions, construction and layout of the showering space will allow your chosen Matki product to be fitted in accordance with Matki Installation Instructions.
In cases, where the Matki Installations Team visits and is unable to fit your chosen Matki product, there will be no refund of the price for the visit, however the Matki product will be refunded in full providing it is not a bespoke product or in a special finish.
Matki products with integrated brassware are not eligible for fitting by Matki Installations as their installation requires more detailed consideration by the plumber/tiller prior to wall coverings being finalised.
Cancellations
Matki Installations visits cancelled within two working days of the agreed visit are non-refundable. Visits terminated or cancelled for reasons outside Matki’s control, whilst the Matki Installations Engineer is at the property, are also non-refundable.
Liability on Site
Products will be fitted in accordance with Matki Installation Instructions and using best practices for installation of bathroom products. Matki Installations will not accept responsibility or liability for any damages, loss or accident resulting from the proper execution of their work unless related potential issues have been advised of in writing in advance of installation being carried out.
Extended Guarantee
All units installed by Matki Installations benefit from an extended 15 year guarantee with the initial 3 year period also having labour cost cover. Please read the terms and conditions found on the Matki website. To qualify for the extended guarantee the details must be registered using the form on the Matki website and listing Matki Installations as the Installer or by ticking the box on the Matki Installations Sign-off form to allow Matki Installations to register the guarantee on your behalf.
